The Ragnarök Online Latin America team is eager to bring you another edition of the Development Notes!

Here you can read, in detail, the updates that are PLANNED to be applied this month!

1. Varmunt Biospheres

A new series of maps will make its debut on the Latin American servers: The Varmunt Ecological Environments, also called Biospheres.

These are a series of maps where monsters have high resistances, but also offer rewards to match!

Initially, 4 environments will be added: Ice, Inferno, Savanna, and Cemetery.

You will be able to craft powerful equipment using the materials found in these environments.

2. Eden Group Revamp

Everything was going well until the Adventurers' League declared itself a competitor to the Eden Group! 

Because of this, the organization will be bringing some special changes for travelers.

These two updates will arrive separately:

2.a. Take all quests at once.

With a single button, the user will be able to take or report all quests, without needing to select them one by one.

2.b. New Quests

A new quest board from levels 130 to 190 will be added to the Eden Group.

The hunts will involve new maps to create a new evolution route for your character.

New equipment will be available to speed things up.

3. Guild Improvements

We are still committed to bringing improvements and fixes to the server's PvP and GvG modes.

Suggestions are always welcome, as well as bug reports.

To make the war environment more dynamic, we are announcing the following updates in advance:

3.a. "Organize" Function in the Party Window

We added a button so that the party sub-windows can be repositioned in one place if necessary.

The sub-windows now have interface priority, so they will not stay behind other interface icons, such as the mini-map or NPCs.

3.b. Allied Chat

Guilds with alliances will be able to chat with each other through the "Send to Allies" function added to the chat button.

3.c. Closure of Battlegrounds

As determined by the developer, Battlegrounds (KvM, Flavius, and Tierra), as well as the access button on the interface, will be removed from the game.

The NPCs that exchange rewards will also be removed. However, equipment acquired so far will be kept.

3.d. Abyss Portal Update

The guild investment system will be discontinued. Instead of waiting for specific days of the week to access the castle dungeons, they will now be accessible at any time and by anyone.

Guild members who have a conquered castle in the guild war will be able to access the Abyss Portal for free, while other players will have to pay a sum of zeny.

4. Quality of Life

Some quality-of-life improvements will be applied throughout the month.

a) Increased duration of items on the ground.

b) Option to block global announcements from characters.

c) New appearances for some entities.
